U16 Sailing

 In Latest News

Earlier this term, a group of enthusiastic boys Broadlands Hall School proudly represented us at the Suffolk School Games U16 Sailing event. The event brought together young sailors from across the county, offering a fantastic opportunity to compete, learn, and connect with others who share a passion for the sport. With near perfect sailing conditions and a supportive atmosphere, the day was set for an unforgettable experience on the water.

Our young people demonstrated impressive skill and determination as they navigated a series of challenges. Despite facing difficult winds, they showed great teamwork and resilience, making steady progress throughout the day. For some, it was their first time on the water, and they rose to the occasion with confidence and enthusiasm. Their commitment and sportsmanship were praised by all those present.

The event was a celebration of youth participation and the spirit of the School Games. It was a proud moment for our school community to see our students embracing new challenges and representing the school with such positivity. We look forward to building on this experience and encouraging even more students to get involved in sailing and other School Games events in the future.
